All employment verification and reference requests concerning a current or former Associate should be handled through a third-party vendor, Equifax. Equifax utilizes an automated service, The Work Number, to provide instant, 24-hour employment verification and reference information.

A charitable fund established to help associates who are facing financial hardship immediately after a natural disaster or an unforeseen personal hardship. Associates may qualify for grants for out-of-pocket expenses, they can apply directly on the website at https://www.carmaxrelief.org.
To submit a non-medical/non-religious request for flex time, compressed work schedule, job sharing, or reduced schedule, the Associate or Manager must log into Workday. Type "create request" in the search field, then select “Flexible Work Arrangement” and complete the required fields.
To submit a request for 100% on-site, hybrid, or 100% remote work designation, the Associate's Manager must complete the request in Workday.
